We will always see new buyers come into the real estate market and as long as Prescott continues to be a place of retirement, we will continue to see home sales move higher. The housing bubble was detrimental to the Prescott area, but the bursting of the bubble helped those individuals looking to purchase a home at a lower price. Now that those individuals who purchased in 2011 are stable in their home growing their equity with time and payments they are able to stabilize the real estate market even more and help home values rise.
